i’ve always loved pin-up art because the women were always so sexy and they always had cheerful smiles on their faces. i miss the old days where models would smile at the camera. now, a lot of models look really fierce and mean :c

I’ve decided to name him Tsubasa.
Like stated before, he is a malevolent spirit. Many years ago, he lived in a rural village with his older brother, Kaede. The village was very superstitious and wary of travelers. When a foreigner came to visit, the villagers were very suspicious of her and a string of unfortunate events happened. They believed that she was cursed. The mayor’s son ended up falling in love with the foreigner and married. It wasn’t until they gave birth to their first child, Kaede, that things worsened. There were droughts, illness, infertility, and increase in accidents occurring. When the couple gave birth to their second son, Tsubasa, the villagers forced the two out of their home and were promptly killed. In order to save their children, the couple left them in an abandoned warehouse.
A few days after, an old man came across the brothers, not knowing that they were the cursed children, and brought them to an orphanage. The village went back to its normal ways. Kaede and Tsubasa grew up safely, but were treated poorly by the other children. Unlike the adults, the children could sense that the two brothers were different. Throughout their whole life, Tsubasa and Kaede were constantly bullied or discriminated at school.
When Kaede turned ten, the orphanage burned down and everyone perished except for him and Tsubasa. The villagers began growing suspicious of the two brothers and no one were willing to adopt them or give them a temporary shelter. As a result, Tsubasa and Kaede lived in the abandon warehouse.
They both resorted to stealing in order to survive, as they were accused of being cursed. More and more unfortunate accidents happened wherever they were found. Kaede and Tsubasa both became very intimate with each other and formed an incestuous relationship. In order to hide their forbidden love, Tsubasa disguised himself as a girl.
However they were both found out and the villagers were no longer able to tolerate them. One night, they formed a mob and set the warehouse on fire. Kaede’s bloodcurdling screams were heard throughout the whole village. Tsubasa arrived on the scene and watched his brother burn to death. When the villagers finally realized that they were killing a young child, they tried to save him, but it was too late. The Kaeda was nothing more than charred corpse.
The morning after, the villagers found Tsubasa hung in the village square with the words “I WILL NEVER FORGIVE” scratched into the tree. Form then on, the village was forever cursed by the two brothers.
Tsubasa is the more malevolent of the two. Even after many decades of haunting the village, his anger has never wavered. He constantly watches over families, couples, and children, doing whatever he can to make their lives miserable. For the most part, he uses subtle hypnosis or bends people’s luck. Tsubasa will rarely physically lash out. The curse is well known among the villagers, but new families or people moving are unaware. It is a well kept secret. If the curse is ever told, the person will suffer an unfortunate event, like being murdered or having their child die in a car accident. Tsubasa will do anything and everything make the people suffer as much as he did.
Tsubasa can physically manifest him in any area of the village, but he is particularly strongest in schools and the site of the burned down warehouse. Despite the village’s modernization, he still wears the old uniform that he committed suicide in.

i don’t know what to post nowadays. -sigh-
all my ocs are relatively simple in design, which i guess makes them uninteresting.
anyways, i don’t have a name for this one. don’t be fooled by his innocent looks. he’s actually a malevolent spirit who destroys romantic relationships, curses families, and causes miscarriages, but more on that later.
